How Some Small-Time Indie Shitshow Called Schedule 1 Threw Shade on Assassin’s Creed Shadows

PokGai Gamer Newsletter

Oi, listen up you pok gai gamers!

You won’t believe this bullshit-some tiny indie game, Schedule 1, just slapped Assassin’s Creed Shadows in the face with more players and cash. Yeah, the big AAA fat cats got their ass kicked by a solo dev’s little project. How the hell did that happen? Let me break it down for you, no sugarcoating.

No Fancy Bullshit, Just Hardcore Hustle

This Schedule 1 shit was cooked up by a one-man army using Unity’s URP. No fat-ass studios dragging their feet like Ubisoft’s slowpoke AC Shadows. This guy iterated fast, fixed shit on the fly, and nailed the core gameplay before adding fluff. That’s how you do it, not wasting time on useless crap.

Viral AF, Not Some Boring History Lesson

Schedule 1’s got that dark, chaotic vibe-drug empire, four-player madness, and enough twisted humor to make you spit your drink. TikTok and Twitch went nuts sharing clips. Meanwhile, AC Shadows was stuck with their dusty history snoozefest. No one gives a shit about some old-timey story when you can watch people blow up drug labs and yell at each other.

Price Like a Snack, Not a Bloody Mortgage

$17 for Schedule 1, plus a free demo on Steam? Easy buy, easy hype. AC Shadows wanted $70 and spread their sorry ass across every damn platform, splitting their players like some weak-ass buffet. Schedule 1 kept all the action on Steam, so everyone’s packed together, making it look way bigger than it actually is.

Money Talks, BS Walks

With almost half a million players and dirt-cheap overhead, Schedule 1 probably pulled in close to $8 million with minimal costs. AC Shadows might have made more in total, but their fat marketing budgets and studio armies ate up the profits faster than you can say “pok gai.”

So yeah, don’t sleep on the little guys, you pok gai. Sometimes all you need is a sharp idea, some hustle, and a bit of chaos to take down the big shots.
