Ubisoft used to make legends – now they make lectures. Every game, must have checklist:

• “Ugly” main characters (sorry, not sorry)

• Story about “representation” until you fall asleep

You want to play? First, pick Body Type 1 or 2. Wah, so immersive. Next, get ready for NPCs to lecture you about their feelings. Where’s the fun? Gone lah, just like Ubisoft’s sales chart.

Dragon Age: Where All the Women Look Like Your Uncle

Remember when RPGs had cool, badass, or at least cute characters? Now? Every new screenshot from Dragon Age looks like a staff photo from your local government office. You want to romance someone? Good luck lah, you need to squint.

Kingdom Come Deliverance: Realism Wins

Meanwhile, Warhorse Studios just do their thing. Kingdom Come Deliverance says, “No woke, just history.” You want to play as a man? You play as a man. You want to play as a woman? Can, but in context, not just for “diversity points.” Game still fun, still sells, and nobody complain except the usual Twitter warriors.

Asia: Still Carrying the Industry

While Western studios busy with “diversity,” Asia just keeps making bangers. Japan, Korea, China – all still giving you pretty waifus, cool heroes, and actual fun. Look at Genshin Impact, Blue Archive, Stellar Blade – all top charts, all look good, all make money. Coincidence? I don’t think so, lah.

Why Studios Still Push Woke Agenda?

• Want to look good for Western media and shareholders

• Think new audience will come (spoiler: they don’t spend money)

• Scared of Twitter mobs

• Forgot who actually pays for games (hint: not the people complaining online)

You want to sell games? Make games for gamers, not for clout. You want to see “representation”? Go outside, see real people. Game is for fun, not for lecture. If you want to play something that respects you as a gamer, support studios that still care about gameplay and character design, not just hashtags.
